The Walk in the Woods Bed and Breakfast is now open for the 2021 season.
Covid-19 has brought a lot of unprecedented change. Staff are are adapting the best they can to ensure your safety. For this to happen, Walk in the Woods will only be opening their White Room, Vintage Rose and Victorian Room.
It’s located on a very secluded 11 acre estate setting, to enjoy your own private hideaway. The ‘Great Gatsby’ Dutch Colonial located on Long Islands North Fork, in Southold, NY in the heart of Long Island’s wine country.
It’s surrounded by woods, wetlands, nature and wildlife right at their doorstep. Relax and enjoy the wildlife on the large wrap around front porch, always available rain or shine, day or night.
You can take a walk on the paths of the 11 acres of woods, plus 21 acres of public forest land (The Tall Pines Of Bayview) that adjoins the property. Trails of the pristine forest lead to Paradise Point and then just a short walk and you’re at Cedar Beach enjoying a beautiful view of Shelter Island and The Hamptons.
Take in the sunset at Kenneys Beach and McCabes Beach on North Sea Road. Or enjoy the propietor’s favourite local beaches: Goose Creek and Cedar Beach, both within walking distance.
