by MICHELINA DA FONTE | NORTHFORKER.COM

We get it, your fur baby is part of the family and there’s no reason Fido should have to stay at home with puppy eyes while you explore the North Fork’s wineries and vineyards.

Here are eight dog-friendly vineyards that welcome man’s best friend to come along for the ride.

Palmer Vineyards

This Riverhead winery, that welcomes leashed dogs outside on the lawn, provides a beautiful view overlooking 49 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards. Palmer Vineyards is currently accepting walk-ins on a first come, first served basis and reservations can be made for wine club members only.

The family-friend vineyard offers plenty of outdoor fun, including corn hole, Uno, and Jenga. Reservations are not required, however, they are strongly recommended.

Dogs are allowed on the patio as long as they are leashed and supervised. Reservations are highly recommended for all guests, especially on weekends, and all tables are on a 90-minute time limit.
